Adele M. (Giurleo) Reda, of Medford, formerly of Somerville, passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2026. She was 73 years of age.
Adele was a woman whose greatest joy in life was her family. She was a loving wife, devoted mother, and proud grandmother who cherished every opportunity to spend time with those she loved. She treasured family gatherings, holidays, and baking desserts. A passionate Boston sports fan, she faithfully cheered on her favorite teams and rarely missed a game. Her evenings often ended with her favorite routines: watching Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, and back to cheering on the Red Sox. Adele will be remembered for her strength, patience, and the love she shared with family and friends.
Adele is the beloved wife of the late Fred Reda. She is the cherished mother of Steven Reda, Jaime Tammaro and her husband Derek, Linda Daley and her husband Brian and Michael Reda and his wife Stephanie. Adele is the devoted grandmother of Brian Daley, Dylan Reda, Andrew Daley, Olivia Tammaro, Victoria Tammaro, Nicolo Reda, and Gemma Reda. Daughter of the late Domenic and Carmela Giurleo. Dear sister of Sam and Anthony Giurleo, Rosanna Lococo, the late Maria Pastore, the late Nick Giurleo, and the late Elizabeth Fernandez. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share memories with the family on Friday, September 4, 2026, at the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main Street, Stoneham, MA from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Adele's Eternal Life at St. Raphael Church, 512 High Street, Medford, MA at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford.
