Agnes M. (O'Gara) Emery

Agnes M. (O'Gara) Emery of Stoneham passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2014at Winchester Hospital. She was 90 years of age.

Born in Boston, Agnes was the daughter of the late Joseph and Abigail J. (O'Brien) O'Gara. Agnes was a warm and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be sadly missed.

Agnes was an avid Red Sox fan. She enjoyed going out to dinner and she loved Old Orchard Beach for over 50 years.

Agnes was the beloved wife of the late Harold L. Emery. She was the loving longtime companion of Fran Healy. Agnes was the devoted mother of Paul J. Emery, Eileen E. Nims and her husband Steven P. and Robert J. Emery. She was the cherished grandmother of Sean Emery and his wife Laura, Iain Emery and his wife Nicole, Briana Nims, Sarah Nims and great grandmother of 4. Agnes was the dear sister of the late John Garrett.

Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the Family on Monday, April 21, 2014 from 8:00-9:30 am in the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM. A Funeral Mass celebrating Agnes Eternal Life will be held on Monday, April 21, 2014 in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham at 10 am. Parking attendants will be available. Interment Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose.
