Agnes R. Newton

Agnes R. Newton of Woburn passed away on Monday, October 9, 2006 at Lahey Hitchcock Medical Center in Burlington. She was 84 years of age.





Born in Lowell, Agnes was the beloved daughter of the late George O. Rennard and Laura H. (Conant) Rennard. Agnes was a warm and caring daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend. She will be sadly missed.





Agnes was a dedicated medical secretary for many years. She had a love of nature and flowers. She was an avid outdoor gardener. Agnes worked for 50+ years for the Seventh Day Adventist Church in various occupations. She was a devoted member of the New England Memorial Church, until it became the Stoneham Memorial Church. Agnes taught in Bible Classes and instructed Pathfinders. She will be remembered for her very good sense of humor and tolerance for teasing.





Agnes was the beloved mother of Milon G. "Lonnie" Newton and his wife Connie of South Lancaster and Laura Lee "Laurie" Curtis of Woburn. She was the cherished grandmother of Jason Curtis and his wife Jennifer, Jeremy Curtis, Milon G. "OJ" Newton Jr. and his wife Angie and Shaun E. Newton. Agnes was the loving great grandmother of 5 and the dear sister of Irene Wendth, Joseph Rennard and the late Marion Crandall and Edith Rennard. She was also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, friends and relatives.





Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Memorial Service on Sunday at 2pm in the Stoneham Memorial Seventh Adventist Church, 29 Maple St. STONEHAM.
