It is with great sadness that the family of Alan F. MacDonald age 76 of North Reading announce his passing on March 23, 2025. Beloved husband of Joanne (Betts) MacDonald. Loving father of Adam MacDonald, Rebecca Dunnett and her husband, and Alyse Bonfiglio and her husband. Alan is also survived by five grandchildren. Cherished son of the late Ruth (Smith) and Francis MacDonald. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Saint Theresa's Church 63 Winter St., North Reading on Monday March 31st, 2025 at 10:30am. A visitation period will be held in the church from 10 thru 10:30am. Burial will take place in Riverside Cemetery, North Reading. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for memorial contributions to be made in Alan's name to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516.
