Alan Whitney

Alan Whitney of Reading July 18, 2011 at age 72. Beloved husband of Lynda (Welsh) Whitney. Loving father of Robin Whitney of Reading, Kathryn Mansfield and her husband Timothy of Wenham and John Alan Whitney, Jr. and his fiancee Sarah Murphy of Boston. Grandfather of Sayer and Peter. Dear brother of Ken Whitney and his wife Clare of CO and the late Robert Whitney.



Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral Service Celebrating Alan's Life at Trinity Church, 206 Clarendon St., Boston on Saturday, July 23rd at 2:00 p.m.



Alan found immense joy in life. He loved the outdoors- animals, kayaking and most of all, fishing. He enjoyed traveling, most recently to Italy where he and Lynda celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary.
