Erickson, Albert C. – Of Peabody, formerly of Wakefield, peacefully on May 11, 2014 surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of Aurelia, devoted father of four daughters: Donna Williamson (Scott) of Illinois, Marcia Conrod, Marianne Erickson, Susanne Freeman (Paul) of New Hampshire. Loving grandfather of Erik H. Williamson (Melissa), Christopher S. Williamson, and adoring great grandfather of Lewis K. Williamson.  Treasured son of the late Erik and Marie Erickson.  Dear brother of Eric G Ericson and the late Esther Erickson and Mabel Foley of Connecticut. Many loving nieces and nephews survive him. Born in Stratford CT, Albert was a graduate of MIT.  He worked 39 years at General Electric Company including GE's Direct Energy Conversion Operation (DECO) responsible for fuel cell development for the Gemini Space and other NASA programs. A US Army Veteran of the Battle of the Bulge, he also was a recipient of the Bronze Star during WWII. Relatives and friends are most respectfully invited to attend a Funeral Mass in St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 127 Summer Street, Lynnfield on Friday, May 16 at 11am. Interment at Riverside Cemetery, North Reading.  In lieu of flowers, remembrances in Albert's name may be made to Massachusetts General Hospital or your charity of choice.
