Albert J. "Joe" Rotondi

May 30, 1938 — December 13, 2021

Albert J. "Joe" Rotondi of Billerica passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Monday, December 13, 2021. He is 83 years of age.

Born on Monday, May 30, 1938 in Stoneham, Joe is the loving son of the late Eugene Rotondi and Mary (Brazeau) Rotondi. Joe is a warm, kind, caring and gentle son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and friend who will be truly missed.

Joe had a larger-than-life personality and was a legend to all who knew him. Joe had the ability to tell a story like no one else and often use vocabulary that would make you laugh out loud. His passion for life influenced everything he did.

As the proud president of E.B. Rotondi and Sons Inc, established by his father in 1932, Joe's engineering expertise and perfectionism earned him a great deal of respect in the industry. His work ethic was tireless and he loved what he did. Joe also had a passion for classic cars, restoring many during the cold winter months over the years and attending car shows with his family.

Joe's beloved Cape house in Dennis Massachusetts was his favorite place on earth and will always carry fond memories of beach days, sunsets, and meals shared with family. Joe's strong faith carried him through his long illness and gave both he and his family comfort until they are reunited together again in eternity with their loving Savior Jesus Christ. Joe will be greatly missed but his memory will live on and bring smiles to the faces of those who knew him.

Joe is the beloved husband of Janice (Goodhue) Rotondi. He is the devoted father of Michael Rotondi and his wife Sheryl, Douglas Rotondi and his wife Paige and Heather Rotondi. The cherished grandfather of Michael Rotondi and his wife Lauren, Karly Rotondi and Joseph Rotondi, Joe is the doting great grandfather of Aria Rotondi. He is the dear brother of Gloria Alfisi, Samuel Rotondi, Claudia Aitken, Anna Okolita, twins Charles Rotondi and Diane Ouimette and the late Eugene Rotondi, Roger Rotondi, David Rotondi, George Rotondi, Mary Lou Shattuck and Janet Harrington. Joe is also lovingly survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with Joe's Family on Saturday, December 18th from 2-5pm with a Servcie Celebrating Joe's Eternal Life to be held at 3pm in the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main Street (RT 28) STONEHAM.
