Born in Medford, Mr. Prior was the son of the late Albert G. and Lena (Waldron) Prior.e He was a resident of Stoneham for the past 44 years. Al was an electrical engineer having his own electrical contracting company.
Mr. Prior was a United States Navy Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict.e He loved hockey.e He was a former coach for Pee Wee Hockey in the Town of Stoneham and a member of the Stoneham School Building Committee, having the needs of children his top priority.e He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.e
Al is survived by his wife Helen M. (Connolly) Prior, his four children, Linda M. Pauly, Richard P. Prior, Stephen J. Prior, Catherine A. Prior and his ten loving grandchildren. He was the brother of the late James Prior.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours at the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (Rte. 28) STONEHAM on Friday 2-4e & 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Patrick's Church 71 Central St. Stoneham on Saturday October 27th at 10:30 a.m.ee Interment Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham.e
