Albert Tine

Albert Tine, Sr. of Jacksonville, Florida, formerly of Reading passed away on Sunday, August 3, 2014 in Jacksonville. He was 90 years of age.

Born on October 31, 1923 in Wakefield, Albert was the loving son of the late Joseph Tine and Nancy (Cincotta) Tine. Albert was a warm and caring son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and friend. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Albert retired as a Supervisor of Electrical Meters from the Reading Municipal Light Department. Albert also proudly defended our freedom by serving in the United States Navy.

Albert was the beloved husband of the late Anna Tine. He was the devoted father of Albert Tine, Jr., and the late Joseph and Eugene Tine. Albert was the cherished grandfather of 7 and the loving great grandfather of 11. He was the dear brother of Joseph Tine Jr. and the late Anthony Tine, Sebastian Tine and Mary Rosati.

Funeral from the Doherty – Barile Family Funeral Home, 11 Linden St. READING, Monday, August 11, 2014 at 9:30am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Albert's Eternal Life in St. Agnes Church, 186 Woburn St. Reading at 10:30am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the Family on Sunday, August 10th, 2014 from 2-6pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants and handicapped entrance are available. Interment with Military Honors will take place at Laurel Hill Cemetery, Reading.
