Alberta Ann (Benson) Kinsley of Reading, formerly of Somerville, passed away peacefully at home with her children by her side on February 19, 2015. She was the wife of the late William A. Kinsley III. Together they moved to Reading in 1954 with their four children. He was a police officer in Somerville, and she worked for the town of Reading in the school cafeteria system.
She is survived by their children, William A. Kinsley IV, Donna Foley and her husband Tom, Karen Tavano and Albert B. Kinsley and his wife, Nancy. She is further survived by eight grandchildren, William A. Kinsley V, Brian P. Kinsley, Rebecca Amaral, Phillip Ricardo, Corey Ricardo, Gerald Tavano, Katie Wezenter and Jaki Twombley. Also, 13 great-grandchildren, Amanda, Julia, Shane and Jason Kinsley, Peyton, Brooke, and Jordan Kinsley, Will, Elizabeth and Jonathan Amaral, Nathan Wezenter, Colton Twombley and Anthony Ricardo.
A Funeral Service Celebrating Alberta's Eternal Life will be held on Tuesday, February 24 at 11am in the Chapel of the Doherty-Barile Family Funeral Home, 11 Linden St., READING. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the Family on Monday, February 23 from 4pm to 8pm in the Funeral Home.
