Alessandro Armenio

Alessandro Armenio, of Arlington, passed away peacefully on Wednesday August 19, 2026. He was 98 years of age. 

Alessandro Armenio was a cabinet maker by trade that he learned in Gaeta Italy.  He was self employed for about 16 years but continued to work in his  trade with other employers after selling the interest in his business in the mid 70's.  He came to the USA in 1951 and met what would be the love of his life Maria Leccese who he would marry in 1954.  They were together for 72 years.  Alessandro always exhibited a strong work ethic which he passed on to his son.  His hobbies were watching sports, traveling to his beloved Gaeta, bowling, spending time with close friends/family and playing cards.  He and Maria bought their first an only home in 1960 and achieved the American Dream.  They resided in that home for 62 years until moving into assisted living in 2022.  He always believed that if you put your mind to something you could achieve anything. 

Alessandro is the beloved husband of Maria (Leccese) Armenio. He is the cherished father of Frank Armenio and his wife Cora. Loving grandfather of Anthony Armenio and his fiance Jac.

Family and friends are kindly invited to a Graveside Service Celebrating Alessandro's Eternal Life on Tuesday August 25th, 2026 at 11 am in Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge.
