Alfred & Libera (Leccese) Bonaccorsi

Libera (Leccese) and Alfred Bonaccorsi of Stoneham, formerly of Medford passed away at Winchester Hospital on April 27th and May 2nd, 2016 respectively.

Fred and Libera were married on October 30, 1948 in Our Lady of Grace Church in Everett. They were both devout and loving family members who loved spending time with family and friends, especially their children and grandchildren.

Fred and Libera lived in Medford for 53 years before moving to Stoneham. Libera was a dedicated homemaker while Fred worked as a sheet metal fabricator. Libera loved to do ceramics, play bingo and cook for family dinners. Fred's employment took him to the Charlestown Navy Yard and Deaconess Hospital. Fred proudly defended our freedom by serving in the 70th Infantry during World War II in Germany, France and Belgium. They loved going to Florida and just being together.

Libera and Fred were the beloved parents of Alfred Bonaccorsi and his wife Donna and Nancy Juliano and her husband James. They were the cherished grandparents of James A. Juliano Jr. and his wife Nicole, Michael C. Juliano, Matthew Bonaccorsi and Nicholas Durgin and his wife Heather. They were the loving great grandparents of Connor. Libera was the daughter of the predeceased Michael and Ann (Fatibene) Leccese and was predeceased by her siblings, Domenic Leccese, William Leccese, Andrew Leccese and Mary Caira. Alfred was the son of the predeceased Orazio and Nunziata (Bonaccorsi) Bonaccorsi and was predeceased by his siblings, Anthony Bonaccorsi and Agatina "Tina" Bonaccorsi. They were both survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Friday, May 6th at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Libera's and Alfred's Eternal Lives in St. Joseph's Church, 114 High St. Medford at 10am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with the Family on Thursday, May 5th from 4-7pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants and elevator are available. Interment Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
