Alice M. Murphy

Alice M. Murphy, of Reading, formerly of Norwood, passed away on Thursday September 22, 2022. She was 86 years of age.

Born in New York, Alice is the daughter of the late Frank and Ellen (Leahy) Murphy. Alice was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Alice is the beloved sister of John Murphy and his late wife Lois, Bridget "Bridie" Sumner and her husband Neil and the late Ann Van Name, Helen Murphy and Francis Murphy. Dear friend of Sue Ann Mazzarella. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share memories with the family on Thursday October 6th, 2022 in St. Athanasius Church 300 Haverhill St. READING from 10:30 am to 11:30 am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Alice's Eternal Life at 11:30 am. Interment will follow in Charles Lawn Cemetery, Reading.
