Alice M. (Volk) Potvin of Reading formerly of Clinton Township, MI January 24, 2010 at age 81. Beloved wife of the late Donald J. Potvin. Devoted mother of Danielle (Potvin) Curran and her husband Patrick J. "PJ" of Reading. Loving daughter of the late Mary (Medved) and John Volk originally of Slovenia. Dear sister of Jennie Mather and the late Richard Volk. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral from the Doherty - Barile Family Funeral Home, 11 Linden St. READING Friday at 9 am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Alice's life at St. Athanasius Church, 300 Haverhill St., Reading at 10 am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the family on Thursday from 4-8 pm in the funeral home. Parking is available in the municipal parking lot on Linden St.
