Alice (Pereira) Teixeira

Alice (Pereira) Teixeira, of Stoneham, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 15th, 2023.  She is 92 years of age.

Born in Marlborough, Massachusetts, Alice is the daughter of the late Antonio and Arminda Teixeira.  Alice is a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend.  She will be missed by all who knew her.

Alice is the beloved wife of the late Antonio Teixeira.  She is the loving mother of Michael Teixeira and his wife Teresa, Mary Heinold and her husband Dean, and the late Manuel Teixeira, David Teixeira, and Christine Wendell.  The cherished grandmother of Ray, Chloe, Anna, Ryan, Daniel, and Kyle, Alice is the dear sister of Antonio Pereira and Irene Pagnini.

Alice was a wonderful mother and grandmother.  She loved nothing more than spending time with her grandchildren.  She and her husband hosted many sleepovers when their grandkids were young and loved babysitting.

Alice enjoyed art and music and was a long time employee of the Providence Art Club.  Alice sang in the Stoneham Senior Center chorus and enjoyed bingo at the center.  She enjoyed reading.  She and her late husband also loved going to Ogunquit and Perkins Cove.

Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main Street (RT 28) STONEHAM on Monday, September 25th at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Alice's Eternal Life in Saint Patrick Church 71 Central Street Stoneham at 10am.

Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share memories with Alice’s Family on Sunday, September 24th from 1-4pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants and elevator available.
