Alice Donegan Watson

Alice M. (Donegan) Watson, of Reading, passed away on November 5, 2015 at age 83. She is a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend who will be missed by all who knew her. She will be remembered for her lifelong devotion to community service as an active parishioner and lay minister at St. Agnes Church and thousands of hours of volunteering at Winchester Hospital.

Alice is the beloved wife of John Watson. She is the dear mother of Joseph Watson and his wife Diane, Elizabeth Watson and her husband Robert Schudy, Michael Watson, Thomas Watson and William Watson. Alice is the cherished grandmother of ten and great-grandmother of five. She is the loving daughter of the late Maurice H. and Doris (Bright) Donegan. Alice is the dear sister of Mary Stuckey, Thomas Donegan, William Donegan and the late Doris, Patricia, Jean, Maurice, Aileen, Margaret and James. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the Doherty-Barile Funeral Home 11 Linden Street READING, Tuesday, November 10th at 9:00am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Alice's Eternal Life in Saint Agnes Church, 186 Woburn Street, Reading at 10:00am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with the Family on Monday, November 9th from 4:00pm to 8:00pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants and ramped entrance available. Interment at Wood End Cemetery, Reading.
