Alphonse "Al" Romano

Alphonse "Al" Romano, Jr. of Woburn, formerly of Stoneham, passed away on November 13, 2015 at age 84. Al was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend and will be missed by all who knew him.

Al is the beloved husband of Mary (Pollaro) Romano. He is the dear father of Annmarie Stackhouse and her husband John. Al is the cherished grandfather of Ryan Stackhouse and Jenna Stackhouse. He is the loving son of the late Alphonse and Pauline (LaMonica) Romano. Al is the dear brother of Bobby Pisco and his wife Ronnie and brother-in-law of Elizabeth Pollaro. Uncle of Andrea and Paul McGurin.

Al proudly served in the US Army during the Korean War.

Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main Street, STONEHAM, Monday, November 16th, 2015 at 9:00am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Alphonse's Eternal Life in Saint Patrick Church, 71 Central Street, Stoneham at 10:00am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with the Family on Sunday, November 15th, 2015 in the Funeral Home from 2-6pm. Parking attendants and elevator available.
