In Loving Memory of Andria
Andria, born on May 5, 1977, in Medford, Massachusetts, was a woman whose love, laughter, and larger-than-life personality left an unforgettable mark on everyone fortunate enough to know her. She had a heart that seemed to have room for everyone, a fierce loyalty to those she loved, and a remarkable ability to make people feel seen, supported, and celebrated.
A proud graduate of Medford High School, Andria went on to build a beautiful life surrounded by family, friends, and a community that became an extension of her family.
On June 26, 2005, Andria married the love of her life, Matt, from Scituate, Massachusetts. Together, they made their home in Reading, where they built a life filled with love, laughter, and countless cherished memories. Above all else, Andria was a devoted wife and mother. Her family was her greatest joy, and she poured her heart into supporting and encouraging her children in everything they pursued, whether it was school, dance, scouts, or motorized projects. She was their biggest cheerleader and their fiercest advocate, always ready to celebrate their accomplishments, stand beside them through challenges, and remind them just how much they were loved.
Throughout her life, Andria’s work reflected her creativity, compassion, and natural instinct to care for others. As a talented florist, she brought beauty and joy to countless occasions. Her work in home health care reflected her extraordinary ability to comfort and care for people during some of life’s most vulnerable moments. Her passion for animals led her to work in animal rescue and as a veterinary technician, where her kindness extended to creatures great and small.
But Andria’s generosity was never limited to her professional life. She was simply the person who showed up. Whether someone needed a listening ear, a helping hand, a garden tended to, a last-minute boutonniere, or someone to sit beside them during life’s hardest moments, Andria was there. She had a special gift for caring for others, often anticipating what someone needed before they even knew how to ask.
Andria was everyone’s biggest cheerleader, their personal “hype girl,” and the friend who could make you feel like the most important person in the room. She had an extraordinary ability to connect with people from all walks of life. Strangers quickly became friends, and friends became family. Her warmth, humor, and infectious personality made people feel welcome wherever she went.
She loved deeply, gave generously, and protected fiercely. Andria was never afraid to stand up for someone she loved, even when doing so came at a personal cost. Her strength, compassion, and unwavering loyalty were woven into everything she did. She didn’t just tell people she cared about them; she showed them, time and time again, through countless acts of kindness, both big and small.
Andria leaves behind her husband, children, father, and countless friends, neighbors, and loved ones who became family along the way. Her absence leaves an immeasurable void in the lives of all who knew and loved her.
Andria’s life cannot be measured simply by the years she lived, but by the countless lives she touched. Her legacy lives on in every person she encouraged, every animal she helped, every friend she stood beside, and every act of kindness inspired by her example. She made the world a little brighter, a little kinder, and a lot more beautiful simply by being in it.
She was loved beyond measure, and she will be missed beyond words.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Andria’s life on Thursday, October 29, 2026, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Doherty-Barile Family Funeral Home, 11 Linden Street, Reading, Massachusetts. Parking attendants and elevator are available.
