On November 14, 2019 Angela "Rosa" Barletta the matriarch of the Barletta Family went to Jesus at the age of 96. Rosa's Journey began in Italy with her husband and three sons. On January 31st, 1966 they moved to America to start a new journey.

Her family was her most treasured Joy and nurtured it by setting strong family traditions which bonded our family together.  Her Sunday dinners and Friday night pizza were a weekly must, no matter what you were doing.  Rosa did many jobs, they varied from seamstress, to babysitter, to gardener.  Rosa had an incredible green thumb and her garden was her pride and joy.  Her flowers were always the talk of our family and people would come by just to see.  We will continue to live her legacy together as the strong family she set the foundation for.

She was the beloved wife of the late Angelo G. Barletta. Mother of Pasquale "Pat" and his late wife Carmela, Franco and his wife Sandra all of Reading and Mario Barletta and his wife Maria of Woburn. Daughter of the late Gerardo and Grazia (DiMelio) Centrella. Sister of Mario Centrella of Medford, Pasqualina Petrillo of Medford and the late Aquelino Centrella, Nicola Centrella and Rita Gaglione. Grandmother of seven and great grandmother of nine. Funeral from the Funeral Home on Tuesday, Nov. 19th  at 9:30am. Funeral Mass in St. Athanasius Church, 300 Haverhill St., Reading at 10:30am. Relatives and friends may visit at the funeral home Monday 4-8pm. Entombment Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Angela's name to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905.
