Angela (Fournarakis) Colt, of Reading, MA, formerly of Belmont, MA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 30, 2026.

Affectionately known as Yiayia to her grandchildren and great grandchildren, she adored each of them and lit up with a beautiful smile whenever they were together.

Proud of her Greek heritage, she encouraged a love of family, tradition and togetherness. A gifted pianist and talented singer, she found great joy in music and loved singing and playing the piano with her loved ones and siblings during family gatherings. She enjoyed playing both classical and contemporary music.

Angela was a breast cancer survivor and went through Florida hurricanes and floods, showing her resilience when life’s challenges arose.

She had a distinguished career at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration as an Executive Assistant. In retirement, she enjoyed quiet evenings at her Hutchinson Island, Florida home, watching the sun set over the ocean with her little dog Nikki. This was truly one of her greatest pleasures.

Angela is the beloved mother of George Colt and his wife Sherry, Cathy Crepeau and her husband Gerry and Lauren Streeter and her husband Eric. Loving grandmother of Kristin Benante and her husband John, Michael Crepeau and his wife Kristina, Taylor Streeter and Jaden Streeter and great grandmother of Ella, Bridget, Leo and Dominic. Dear sister of the late Solon Fournarakis and his surviving wife Sophia, the late Lillian Anthony and the late Fotini Filandrianos and her husband James. She was the wife of the late James Colt, father of her children. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are kindly invited to share memories with the family in the Barile Cota Family Funeral Home, 335 Park St., North Reading on Wednesday, October 14, 2026 from 11 am to 12 pm followed by a Prayer Service Celebrating Angela's Eternal Life at 12.
