Angelina M. Burns

Angelina M. "Angie" (Minghella) Burns of Stoneham, formerly of Lunenburg and Florida passed away on Friday, July 29, 2005 at her home.





Born in Detroit, Angie was the cherished daughter of the late Vittorio Minghella and Mary (Scearbo) Minghella. Angie was a warm and caring daughter, wife, sister, aunt and friend. She will be missed by all.





Angie was a dedicated manicurist for many years. She loved her family. They were first and foremost in her life. Angie loved cards. She belonged to the Scituate Yacht Club. She loved music. Angie loved all of her nieces and nephews as they were her own.





Angie was the beloved wife of the late Joseph F. Burns. She was the dear sister of Domenic Minghella and his wife Louise of Woburn, John Minghella of Burlington, Rudy Minghella of Saugus, Frank Minghella and his wife Dorothy of Woburn, Richard Minghella and his wife Carol of Reading, MaryAnn Maffeo and her husband Anthony of Stoneham, the late Victor Minghella, Eunice Alteriso, Florinda McLaughlin and her late husband Raymond. Angie was the sister in law of Charlotte Minghella, and George Alteriso. She was the step mother of John Burns of North Carolina and the special aunt of Ethel Long, Cheryl Begnal, and Lori Beauclair. Angie was also survived by 27 nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews.





Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Monday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Angie's life in St. Patrick's Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10am. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend Visiting Hours Sunday 4-8pm. Parking attendants will be on duty. Interment St. Patrick's Cemetery, Stoneham.
