Angelina (Petrino) Davis

Angelina (Petrino) Davis of Stoneham passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2014 at her home. She was 98 years of age.

Born on December 22, 1915 in Boston, Angelina was the loving daughter of the late Domenic Petrino and Marietta (Mancini) Petrino. Angelina was a warm and caring daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, aunt and friend. She will be missed by all who were privileged to have know her.

Angelina was a dedicated nurse at New England Memorial Hospital for many years before her retirement. Her true love was for her family. She enjoyed spending time with them most of all.

Angelina was the beloved wife of the late John F. Davis. She was the devoted mother of Barbara Doherty and her late husband Walter, Glenn Davis and his wife Mary and the late Patricia Ellen Smith. Angelina was the cherished grandmother of Gary Smith and his wife Paula, Ricky Smith and his wife Shelly, Marc Smith, Michelle Smith, John Davis and his wife Cathy, Glenn Michael Davis, Linda Sanson and her husband Paul Bartony, John Doherty and his wife Jini and Debra Doherty. She was the adoring great grandmother of Bobby Smith and his wife Melissa, Jennifer Collins and her husband Bill, Chris Lovett, Ian Smith, Nick Ray, Ryan Doherty, Sean Doherty, Daniel Doherty, James Doherty and his wife Tiffany, Amy Doherty, Mary Claire Davis and Emily Jean Davis. The Loving great great grandmother of Zoe and her twin sister Madison Doherty, Gemma, Kaley and Layla Smith, Angelina was the dear sister of the late Joseph E. Petrino and Guido Petrino.

A Funeral Service Celebrating Angelina's Eternal Life will be held on Monday, July 28, 2014 at 11am in the Chapel of the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the Family prior to the Service beginning at 9am. Interment Belmont Cemetery, Belmont.
