Ann J. (Esposito) Rego

Ann J. (Esposito) Rego of Somerville passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, October 19th, 2026.

Born on Saturday, October 27, 1923 in Somerville, Ann is the loving daughter of the late Luigi Esposito and Immacolatina (Caporiccio) Esposito. Ann is a warm, kind, gentle & loyal daughter, sister, wife, aunt, great aunt, cousin and friend who will be deeply missed.

Ann is the beloved wife of the late Walter Rego. She is the devoted aunt of Carol Hebert and her late husband William, Jean Fahey and her late husband Jack, Tracey Lembo and her husband Tony, and the late Margie DeAngelis and her late husband Vincent, the late Mary Kocyk, the late Janice Foster and the late Louis Esposito III. The cherished great aunt of Jeffrey Hebert, Kristen Glynos and her husband Louis, Kim Landry and her husband James, Vincent, Mark, Todd and Tammy DiAngelis, Victoria and Mark Landry, Lucas Glynos, Cara and Joey Lembo, and the late Tedd Kocyk, Ann is the dear sister of the late Pat Esposito, Tina Frizzell, Vincent Esposito, Louis Esposito and Mary Esposito. She is also lovingly survived by many great great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends who will truly miss her.

Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with Ann’s Family on Tuesday, October 27th from 8:30am – 9:30am in the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main Street (RT 28) STONEHAM. Parking attendants and elevator are available.

A Funeral Mass Celebrating Ann’s Eternal Life will be held on Tuesday, October 27th at 10am in Saint Joseph’s Church, 173 Albion Street Wakefield. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
