Ann P. Mahon

Ann P. (McGorty) Mahon of Stoneham, May 5, 2013. Devoted mother of John Mahon and his wife Elizabeth, Colin Mahon, Austin Mahon and his wife Kerry and Timothy Mahon and his wife Marybeth. Cherished grandmother of Carrie, Molly, Jay, Ryan, Meghan, Emma, Aimee, Jillian, Meredith, Hudson, Carter and great grandmother of Cailin and Declan. Dear sister of Francis, Isabel, Catherine (Sister Mary Thaddeus) and the late Andrew, Thaddeus "Ted", John, Mary, Patrick and James. Loving daughter of the late Thaddeus and Mary (Ferry) McGorty. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.



Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Friday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Ann's Eternal Life in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the Family on Thursday from 5-8 pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants will be available.



Ann attended the Academy of the Sacred Heart in Hoboken, NJ and received her BS at Suffolk University in Boston and her Masters in Education from Fitchburg State College. Ann taught 6th grade for 30 years at the Marshall Middle School in Billerica.
