Ann (Dalton) McLeod

Ann S. (Dalton) McLeod of Reading, passed away on Tuesday January 28, 2014, peacefully with her family at her side.

Ann was the beloved wife of the late Robert H. McLeod. She was the loving mother of Mark, Chrissy, Sherry, Michele. Ann was the cherished grandmother to Heather, Crystal, Bryan, Shaun. Sister of Richard, Shirley, Sissy, Billy, Joe, Duke, Edna, Butch. Ann was the loving daughter of the late Mary and Richard Dalton. Mother In Law to Darlene and Dave.

Ann was born in the Great Town of Reading Massachusetts on the 3rd day of November in 1941. She was a graduate of the awesome Reading Memorial High School Class of 1960. Her husband, "Bob" was the owner of McLeod's Gulf in Reading. Together they would own the Hillside Motel in Mattapoisett. They lived in the town of Tewksbury for several years and together they would own the Beachway Motel in West Yarmouth. While in West Yarmouth they spent a few winters being Snow Birds in Riverview Florida. Eventually they retired to the Adult Retirement Community of Pleasent Living in Riverview Florida. After the passing of Bob, Mom returned to Reading and among other jobs her last one was as a Pea Pod Shopper at Stop & Shop. Mom always had a good book going and was a wicked avid reader.
