Cirenza, Ann B., 98 –Of Andover, formerly of Swampscott and Lynn, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 7, 2016 at Merrimack Valley Hospice House after a brief illness.

Born May 17, 1918 to Amalia (Budriesi) Ottani and Alfonso Ottani. Ann graduated from Lynn Classical High School and then worked at General Electric Company. She married Ralph Cirenza, who died in 1957.

Her passions were spending time with family and friends, the Red Sox, playing bingo, participating in the daily activities at Marland Place and doing word searches. She loved to make her Italian specialties including tortellini and sfrapples.

She leaves a daughter, Mary Ann Begley, of Andover and her husband, John. Ann was known as "Nonnie" to her grandchildren. She leaves Jeffrey Begley and his wife Lauren and Mark Begley and his girlfriend, Kayleigh Burgess.

She is predeceased by her twin sister, Mary. She was also the sister of the late Agnes Ottani, Frank Ottani, Laura Fallon, Elizabeth Ring, George Ottani, James Ottani and Jean Carter. She leaves many nieces and nephews who were dear to her.

Funeral from the Cota Funeral Home on Tuesday, Oct. 11 ^th at 9am. Funeral Mass in St. Augustine's Church, 43 Essex St., Andover at 10am. Relatives and friends may visit at the funeral home Monday from 4-7pm. Interment St. Joseph's Lynn. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ann's name to the Merrimack Valley Hospice House, 360 Merrimack St., Building 9, Lawrence, MA 01840.
