Anna (Gargano) Gerardi of Stoneham passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at age 75.
Anna was born on June 14, 1946 in Cassino Italy. She is the loving daughter of the late Michele Gargano and Brigida (DelMaestro) Gargano. Anna was a loving, kind, compassionate, and caring wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, cousin, and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Anna married the greatest love of her life, Michelangelo, 56 years ago. They first met in Stoneham, introduced to each other by mutual family friends. The two knew they were meant to be together and would continue their love story and raise their children in the town where they first met. As a hairdresser, Anna met many wonderful people who became like family to her. Anna devoted her life to her family and treasured every moment with them. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, she loved traveling to Italy to visit family, she took pride in cooking healthy, nutritious meals, she loved shopping, bingo, water aerobics, and listening to her iPod. Anna was a warm hearted, genuine woman who was always there for you if you needed advice, someone to talk to, or someone to make you smile. Her loss leaves a void that will never be filled.
Anna is the beloved wife of Michelangelo Gerardi. She is the devoted mother of Janet Eramo, Joseph Gerardi and his wife Lucille and Amy Scally and her husband Jim. The cherished grandmother of Cristina Eramo, Annalisa Eramo, Michael Gerardi, Dariana Gerardi, Antonio Gerardi, James Scally, Olivia Scally and John Scally, Anna is also lovingly survived by her two brothers Tony Gargano and Erminio Gargano, as well as many nieces and nephews and cousins.
