Anna "Bette" Hill (McCarron) was called to heaven on 9/20/2021 with her family by her side. Bette was a life-long resident of Winchester, Massachusetts where she raised her children Betsy, Charles, and Mary. She was previously a town meeting member in Winchester, held presidential campaign events at her house, and volunteered for John F. Kennedy's election campaign. She also worked at the Wyman School and for the Superintendent of Schools in Winchester.
Bette was an integral member of the Winchester Boat Club, serving as it's Social Director and volunteered her time as the leader of a Girl Scout Troop. She also had a passion for travel, exploring Ireland, Spain, Switzerland, and her favorite location, Bermuda where she visited over fifty times. Bette was also a fervent supporter of the Boston College Football program, attending every home game from the 1970's until the 2010's and became a member of the Blue Chip Club.
Bette's greatest love was the time she spent with her family. Whether it was the time she spent with her cherished daughter Betsy and her husband Ed Ingalls, or babysitting her grandchildren Erica and Michael, Bette's life revolved around her family. She was predeceased by her husband Charles, parents Anna and John McCarron, and siblings Peggy, Jerry, Mary Meade, and Veronica "Ronnie" Golden. She will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and all that knew her.
