Annamae (D'Andrea) DeMattia of Reading formerly of Revere, passed away of Sunday, February 12, 2006 at Winchester Hospital. She was 97 years of age.
Annamae was a warm and caring daughter, sister, wife, mother, step mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She will be missed by all.
Annamae was a dedicated employee at Capezio Shoe for many years. She was devoted to her family. They meant the world to her. Her family was first and foremost in her life. Her love for them went unaparalleled.
Annamae was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Mitzcavitch and James DeMattia. She was the devoted mother of Mary June (Mitzcavitch) Andreola and her husband John of Reading. Annamae was the loving step mother of John DeMattia and the late Vincent DeMattia. She was the cherished grandmother of 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren and the dear sister of Frank D'Andrea and his wife Pearl of Quincy.
A Funeral Service celebrating Annamae's life will be held on Wednesday at 11:30 am in the Chapel of the Joseph Doherty - Barile Family Funeral Home 11 Linden St. READING. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend Visiting Hours Wednesday from 10-11:30am. Parking is available in the municipal parking lot located behind Atlantic Supermarket on Haven St. Interment Forest Glen Cemetery, Reading.
