Anne (Zogas) Maratta

Anne (Zogas) Maratta of Stoneham passed away on Tuesday, April 08, 2014 at her home. She was 73 years of age.

Born on May 17, 1940, Anne was the loving daughter of the late Charles Zogas and Pauline (Caneles) Zogas. Anne was a warm and caring daughter, sister, wife, aunt and friend who will be missed by all who were privileged to have known her.

Anne was a dedicated and devoted Secretary for the Department of Defense for many years. She was very active at the Stoneham Senior Center and was a member of the Saint Anthony Club in Woburn.

Anne was the Beloved wife of John A. Maratta. She was the dear sister of Angeline Gibelli and her late husband Angelo, Nicholas Zogas and his wife Helen, Harold Zogas and his wife Cathy and the late Magdaline Jumes and her late husband George. Anne was the loving aunt of Stephen Gibelli, James Jumes, Dean Jumes, Chris Jumes, Donna Gibelli and Amy Enright.

Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Friday, April 11, 2014 at 8:45am followed by a Funeral Service in St. Vasilios Greek Orthodox Church, 5 Paleologos St. Peabody at 10am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the Family on Thursday, April 10, 2014 from 5-8pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants and handicapped elevator are available. Interment Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
