Anne M. (Sweeney) Hynes

Anne M. (Sweeney) Hynes of Reading passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2017. She was 96 years of age.

Born on August 3, 1920 in Milton, Anne was the beloved wife of the late Thomas J. Hynes. She was the devoted mother of Thomas J. "Tim" Hynes, Jr., Paul W. Hynes and his wife Margaret and Mary Claire Webb and her husband David. The cherished grandmother of Patrick Hynes and his wife Katie, Kevin Webb and his wife Emily Goss, Kristin Webb, Philip Hynes and Gretchen Tisthanmer and her husband Max, Anne was the dear sister of Francis Sweeney, Raymond Sweeney and his wife Joan, and Eugene Sweeney. She was pre-deceased by 1 sister and 5 brothers. Anne was also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the Doherty – Barile Family Funeral Home, 11 Linden St. READING Tuesday, January 24th at 9:30am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Anne's Eternal Life in St. Athanasius Church, 300 Haverhill St. Reading at 10:30am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with the Family on Monday, January 23rd from 3-7pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants and ramped entrance are available.
