ANTHONY J. BUCCHERI
Anthony J. Buccheri of Stoneham passed away on Tuesday May 14, 2002. He was 76 years of age.
Born in East Boston, Mr. Buccheri was a resident of Stoneham for 41 years. He was a late Navy Veteran of World War II, having served in Pearl Harbor. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Stoneham Council # 489.
Anthony had many hobbies he enjoyed. One hobby that he loved was woodworking. He loved being with people and his warm, friendly smile reflected the wonderful friendships he made over the years. He was a loving father, grandfather, son, brother and friend. He will be missed by all.
Anthony was the beloved husband of 53 years to Alfreda (Visocchi) "Bunny" Buccheri. He was the cherished father of Stephen A. Buccheri and his fiance Bonnie of California, Maryann Buccheri Glynn and her husband John of Burlington, Doreen Tamburrini and her husband James of Stoneham. He was the loving grandfather of Stephen Jr., Lorraine, Luke, Audra, James Jr., John III, Joseph A., and Rachel and a great grandfather of three. He was the brother of Salvatore Buccheri of Everett, George Buccheri of New Hampshire, Robert Buccheri of Quincy, Richard Buccheri of Duxbury, and John Buccheri of Brockton..
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours at the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (Rte. 28) STONEHAM on Thursday 4-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Patrick's Church 71 Central St. Stoneham on Friday May 17, 2002. 10 a.m. Interment Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham.
