Anthony G Coletta died at the age of 87.
He was a Stoneham native, a graduate from Stoneham High School in 1946. Tony was a supervisor who worked for many years at General Foods and was the assistant building inspector for the town of Lynnfield before retiring. Tony married Nancy Richardson in 1957 and was happily married for 58 years. Tony and Nancy moved from Stoneham to Lynnfield where they raised their children.
Tony leaves behind his children Robert, Richard, Jane, and Steven along with their spouses. Tony loved his family which included seven grandchildren Derek, Brian, Kevin, Anthony, Veronica, Anna & Gray. He also leaves behind his nephew Doug Richardson and his family Janice, Jennifer, Ashley and Dougie.
Besides his family Tony's interests included history, sports and western movies. Tony was a man of kindness, character, integrity, and generosity he treated everyone with respect and always wore a smile. He will be remembered in the heart of many.
Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Saturday, June 27th at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Tony's Eternal Life in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the Family on Friday, June 26th, from 3-7pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants and elevator are available. Interment with Military Honors will take place at Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham.
