Anthony W. "Tony" Magri

Anthony W. "Tony" Magri, of Stoneham, passed away peacefully on Sunday February 16, 2025. He was 84 years of age.

Tony is the beloved father of Debra McInnis and her husband Darren, Kristin Hutchison and her husband Rick, and Suzanne Silva and her husband Matt. Cherished "Papa" of Amanda and Lauren McInnis, Justin Hutchison, Isabella and Ryan Silva. Loving brother of Linda Magri and Nancy Lucero. He is also survived by his loving niece, nephews, and cousins. Tony was predeceased by his father Francis (Frank) Magri and his mother Ann B. (McCabe) Hogan, and her husband Hugh Hogan. Tony is also survived by the mother of his three daughters, Joyce Linardy-D'Orlando and her husband John.

Growing up Tony was member of the Belmont High School track team where he was part of their championship team. He was a die hard Red Sox fan, an avid golfer, and enjoyed cooking. Tony faithfully listened to the Felger and Mazz show.  "Tony from Stoneham" often loved calling in to share his take on whatever topic they were discussing.  Those who knew him know he could never shy away from performing at a function if an Elvis song came on. Ultimately, Tony was most passionate about spending time with his children and grandchildren.  Always there with a listening ear or a reassuring word, his family will miss hearing him say "Hi sweetheart just checking in" or "Hey buddy give me a call when you can". 

Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT28) STONEHAM on Saturday February 22, 2025 at 9 am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Tony's Eternal Life in St. Patrick Church 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10 am. 

Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share memories with his family on Friday February 21, 2025 from 4pm to 7pm in the funeral home. Parking attendants and elevator available.
