Anthony Michael Padovani of Stoneham passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2013 at his home. He was 67 years of age.
Born on January 26th, 1947 in Orsogna, Italy, Anthony was the loving son of Maria Padovani and the late Mario Padovani. Anthony was a warm and caring son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and friend. He will be missed.
Anthony graduated from Medford High School. He served in the United States Army from 1967-1969. As an Airborne Ranger, he was a member of the 82nd Airborne Division and 101st Airborne Division. He was the proud recipient of The Purple Heart, The Bronze Star, The Army Commendation Medal, The National Defense Service Medal, The Vietnam Service Medal and the Vietnam Campaign Medal. Anthony was a dedicated member of the Disabled Veteran's Association of America.
Anthony was the beloved husband of the late Joanne (DiPompo) Padovani. He was the devoted father of David Padovani and Steven Padovani and his wife Krisanne. Anthony was the cherished grandfather of Mia Padovani and Ava Padovani. He was the dear brother of Nicholas Padovani and his wife Pamela, Alceo Padovani and his wife Beatrice, Walter Padovani and his wife Carmelina and Roger Padovani. Anthony was the loving uncle of Marina, Mario, Dante, Justina and Andre.
A Funeral Service Celebrating Anthony's Eternal Life will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at 7pm in the Chapel of the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the Family prior to the Service, beginning at 4pm. Parking attendants and handicapped elevator are available.
