Anthony Robert Picariello
November 9, 1925 — December 10, 2006
Anthony R. Picariello of Stoneham, formerly of East Boston passed away on Sunday December 10, 2006 at Winchester Hospital. He was 81 years of age.
Born in Medford, Anthony was the beloved son of the late William Picariello and Louise (DiLorenzo) Picariello. Anthony was a warm and loving son, husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He will be sadly missed.
Anthony was a proud member of the United States Navy serving our Country during World War II in the South Pacific. He was a past member of Holy Name Society at Saint Lazarus Church in East Boston.
Anthony was the beloved husband of the late Alesandra (Camarda) Picariello. He was the devoted father of Michael Picariello and his wife Linda of Stoneham. Anthony was the cherished grandfather of Michael Picariello Jr. and his wife Megan of Wakefield, Philip Picariello and his wife Jaime of Dracut, Anthony Picariello and his fiance Erica of Woburn, Jessica, Stephen and Marc Picariello, all of Stoneham. He was the dear brother of the late Rose Cain, Albert Picariello, Camella Russo and Josephine Ordway.
Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Friday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Anthony's life in St. Patrick's Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10am. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend Visiting Hours, Thursday 3-8pm. Parking attendants will be on duty. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
