Anthony F. Valenti

Anthony F. Valenti of Medford passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at his home. He was 93 years of age.

Born on May 27, 1926 in Boston, Anthony was the loving son of the late Anthony "Rip" Valenti and Concetta (Tarantino) Valenti. Anthony was a warm and caring son, husband, brother, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and friend. He was an avid Boston sports fan and the proud proprietor of the Boston Garden Pizza Concession for 42 years. He will be truly missed.

Anthony was the devoted husband to the late Maryann Valenti (Baldassarre) for 63 years, father of Barbara Nelson and her late husband Barry, Diana Rubin and her husband Michael and Anthony "Tony" Valenti and his wife Lorraine. He was the cherished grandfather of Lori Webb, Matthew Rubin, Bryan Nelson, Todd Nelson, John Valenti, Jennifer Rubin, David Rubin and the loving great grandfather of 7. Anthony was the dear brother of the late Frank Valenti, Anne DeMarco, Alfred Valenti and Marlene DiMare and is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Tuesday, November 12th at 10 am followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Raphael's Church 512 High St., Medford at 11:00 am to celebrate Anthony's Eternal Life. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with the Family on Monday, November 11th from 4-7pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants and elevator are available. Interment Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
