DeFuria, Antoinette S. "Chickie" (Leccese) –Of Wilmington, previously of Peabody and Reading, Oct. 15 ^th, passed away at 88 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Anthony DeFuria. Mother of Carol Osterman and her husband John of Tewksbury, Paul and his wife Kathy of North Andover, Claudia DeFuria and Gregg Stafford of Salem, NH, and John Defuria and his wife Maryellen of Wilmington. Daughter of the late Giuseppe and Julia Leccese. Grandmother of Marissa, Brian, Karra, Ashley and Steven. Antoinette was predeceased by her siblings Stella Perroni, Marie Ruscito, Sophie Manganelli, Libby Ruscito, Ann Ciccone, Susie and Salvatore Leccese. Antoinette leaves many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was a retired employee of Marshall's Warehouse in Woburn. Antoinette was adored by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. She had that gift that made everyone feel special. Funeral from the Funeral Home on Wednesday, Oct. 19 ^th at 9:30am. Funeral Mass in St. Adelaide's Church, 708 Lowell St., Peabody at 10:30am. Relatives and friends may visit at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4-8pm. Interment Forest Glen Cemetery, Reading.
