Antonio G. Caturello of Reading passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, April 11, 2013. He was 89 years of age.
Born in Calabria, Italy, Antonio was the loving son of the late Domenico Caturello and Maria (Pedulla) Caturello. Antonio was a warm and caring son, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Antonio was a dedicated tailor for many years, owning a shop in both Reading and Wakefield. Following this, Antonio worked for General Tire in Reading. Antonio's true love was for his family. They were first and foremost in his life.
Antonio was the beloved husband for 67 years of the late Maria C. (Destito) Caturello. He was the devoted father of Mariella Scribner and her husband Donald, Liliana Patterson and her husband Kevin, Dominick Caturello and his wife Marybeth, Anthony Caturello and the late Norma Caturello. Antonio was the cherished grandfather of 6 and the loving great grandfather of 11.
Funeral from the Doherty - Barile Family Funeral Home, 11 Linden St. READING Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at 9:00am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Antonio's Eternal Life in St. Agnes Church, 186 Woburn St. Reading at 10:00am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the Family on Monday, April 15, 2013 from 4-8pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants and handicapped entrance are available. Interment Wood End Cemetery, Reading.
