Armand A. Trahan

Armand A. Trahan, of Quincy, passed quietly in his sleep on Sunday July 7th, 2024. He was 83 years of age. 

Armand's parents, Alphonse and Blanche moved from Pawtucket, Rhode Island to Hough's Neck where Armand spent most of his childhood. Armand was predeceased by his brothers Robert and Leon. He graduated from Northeastern University with a degree in electrical engineering. Armand served as a lieutenant the Army in Huntsville, Alabama. When he returned to Massachusetts, he worked as an optical engineer for Itek for many years. For more than 70 years, Armand watched the likes of Cousy, Russell, Havlicek and Bird and as an avid Celtics fan and he was very pleased to be able to see them win one more banner.

Armand was the beloved father of Michelle L. Cabral and her husband Frederick. He was the loving grandfather of Meghan and Frederick Jake Cabral. Former husband of Carol Trahan.
