Armando Lewis Fantasia

December 24, 1924 — November 30, 2004

Armando Lewis Fantasia of Stoneham passed away on Tuesday November 30, 2004 at Winchester Hospital. He was 79 years of age.





Born in Revere, Armando was the beloved son of the late Andrea Fantasia and Phimomena (Esposito) Fantasia. Armando was a loving and caring son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. He will be missed by all.





Armando was devoted to his family. They were first and foremost in his life. Armando was a dedicated mason for the Local 52 in Quincy and the Local 3 Bricklayers and Allied Craftsman Union. He was the past President of the Woburn South End Italian Club. He was a past member of the Woburn Sons of Italy. During World War II, Armando proudly served our country in the United States Navy.





Armando was the beloved husband the late Mary Josephine (Chiocariello) Fantasia. He was the devoted father of John James Fantasia and his wife Heidi (Collins) of Winthrop, Michael Anthony Fantasia and his wife Jamie (Doherty) of Billerica, Andrew William Fantasia and his wife Paige (Lombard) of Wakefield, Lorraine Marie Jackson and her husband Donald of Stoneham. Armando was the cherished grandfather of 10. He was the dear brother of Eleanor Polito and her husband John of Billerica, the late Ralph Fantasia and his wife Frances of the North End, the late Biaggio Fantasia and his wife Genive and the late Carmen Anthony Fantasia. Armando was the brother in law of Mary Fantasia of Wareham and was also survived by several nieces and nephews.





Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Saturday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Patrick's Church 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10am. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours Friday 2-4 & 7-9pm. Parking attendants will be on duty. Interment Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham.
