Arthur J. Beaudoin of Wilmington passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2006 at Winchester Hospital. He was 87 years of age.





Born in Stoneham, Arthur was the beloved son of the late Arthur J. Beaudoin and Annie M. Leary. Arthur was a warm and loving, son, brother, husband, father, uncle and friend. He will be sorely missed.





Arthur was a graduate of Reading Memorial High School where he played football. He was a dedicated employee of the Reading Post Office. He was a quiet simple man who loved to work in his garden. He enjoyed going to the beach in Gloucester. During World War II, Arthur proudly defended our freedom in the United States Navy. Arthur was a proud member of the Reading American Legion. He loved and will always miss his dogs.





Arthur was the beloved husband for 44 years of Donna R. (Sias) Beaudoin. He was the devoted father of Ed A. Beaudoin and the dear brother of John F. Beaudoin of Reading and the late Gertrude Beaudoin, Mary Merrill and Francis Beaudoin. Arthur was also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.





Funeral from the Joseph Doherty - Barile Family Funeral Home, 11 Linden St. READING Monday at 8am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Arthur's life in St. Agnes Church, 186 Woburn St. Reading at 9am. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend Visiting Hours Sunday 2-6pm. Parking is available in the municipal parking lot located behind Atlantic Supermarket on Haven St. Interment Forest Glen Cemetery, Reading.
