Lord, Arthur S. –Of Arlington, Sept. 11. Beloved husband of Shirley (Marsh). Father of Leslie Smith and her husband Richard of Reading. Grandfather of Eric Smith, and of Mihaela and her husband David Mabius. Relatives and friends may visit at the funeral home on Friday, Sept. 16 ^th from 4-7pm. Interment will be private. Arthur proudly served his country during WWII in the U.S. Air Force. He also served as Superintendent of the Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Arlington. Arthur was a member of many honorable organizations including the Aleppo Shriners Temple in Wilmington, the VFW, Mystic Valley Masonic Lodge in Arlington, Twice Past Master of the Hiram Lodge and a Rainbow Dad.
