Marchinko, Arthur, age 90, passed away peacefully on the morning of October 15 th surrounded by his loving family. Arthur is survived by his devoted wife Ann, his daughters Gayle Francis and Jhoni Marchinko, his sister Nina, his son-in-law Steven Francis, and his grandchildren Adam and Kelly Francis.

Arthur was born and raised in Malden, MA. As a young man he served in the United States Army at the end of WWII in the Pacific Theater. After the war, Arthur returned to Boston and graduated from Tufts University in 1950. Soon after college, he met his wife Ann, they were married on February 9 th , 1953.

Arthur worked in the insurance business at Gordon Boyd and retired in 1990. He had a long and successful career. During his retirement, Arthur lived in San Diego, CA with his wife for six months of the year to be closer to their children and grandchildren. Arthur's hobbies included tennis, golf, traveling, and singing. However, his greatest accomplishment was his unwavering and steadfast love for his wife, children, and grandchildren who are deeply saddened by his passing.

During his life, Arthur touched many people by his genuine kindness. He was a strong and thoughtful man with an unmistakable tenderness and joy in his personality. Even at his old age, Arthur had countless friends in CA and MA who are grieving his passing and celebrating his life.

Services will be held in San Diego, CA in several weeks. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make a donation to the American Kidney Fund or the National Kidney Foundation.
