Barbara L. (Neil) Anemoduris Russo

Barbara Louise (Neil) Anemoduris Russo, born on March 9, 1930 passed away peacefully early Monday morning on 11/15/2021. Her battle with Alzhimer's showed her courage to face life's challenges with great strength and determination. Despite her fight, Barbara stayed strong and was surrounded by love from her family.

Barbara was born the second of four children to Jesse and Emma Neil of St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada. She was raised in Chelsea attending the Shurtleff and Chelsea High School.

Barbara was a devoted mom to her children. She enjoyed her time at Revere Beach often taking her family and relatives for a day in the sun. She had a passion for dancing. Always the first on the dance floor and the last to leave. In her later years, she became a devoted snowbird in St. Petersburg Florida with her late husband Sal Russo. Both were proud members of the Elks and VFW Post spending many days/nights at socials. They were extremely popular and known by many in their community.

Beloved wife of the late Salvatore Russo and the late Nicholas Anemoduris. Cherished mother of Lynda Molden and her husband Alexi, Dennis Anemoduris and his fiancé Jackie Chagaris, Edward Anemoduris and his fiancé Marie Presti and Barbara Moschella . She was the devoted nana of Christopher Anemoduris and his wife Tracey, Derek Anemoduris, Zachary Molden and his fiancé Alexandra Ruby, Tavia Seymore and her husband Adam, Fallon Lane and her husband Ryan, Nicholas Moschella and Danielle Smith, Jake Anemoduris and his wife Adrianna, Gianna Moschella and Brendan Cunniff. Great grandmother of Alianna Anemoduris, Christopher Anemoduris and Nicholas Anemoduris. Dear sister of Lorraine McCarthy and her late husband Arthur, Jesse Neil and his wife Honey and the late Warren Neil and his late wife Marion.

Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share memories with the family on Saturday November 20, 2021 in the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT28) STONEHAM from 11 am to 1 pm followed by a Funeral Service Celebrating Barbara's Eternal Life at 1 pm. Parking attendants and elevator available.
