Barbara C. Lawlor, age 97, of Brooksby Village, Peabody, MA, formerly of North Reading, MA, passed away on November 23, 2024.

Barbara was born on March 26, 1927 to Anita (Chelis) and Earl Cook, in Newfield, ME. After graduating from Limerick H.S., she attended The Fisher School in Boston.

She worked for Fred C. Church for 27 years in Andover, MA.

In 1950, Barbara met John Lawlor. They shared 62 years together. They enjoyed many winters in Florida volunteering at Give Kids the World. She was also an avid golfer.

A memorial service will be held at Braeburn Gardens at Brooksby Village, Peabody, MA on January 10, 2025 at 11 am.

In lieu of flowers, Barbara requested donations be made to Give Kids the World, Kissimmee, FL, the Historical Society of Newfield, ME, or Brooksby Village Resident Care Fund, Peabody, MA.
