Barbara M. Hurley

Barbara M. (Leduc) Hurley of Stoneham passed away on Saturday, March 10, 2007 at Caldwell Skilled Nursing Center in Ipswich. She was 86 years of age.
Born in Stoneham, Barbara was the loving daughter of the late Alfred Leduc and Margaret (Stevens) Leduc. Barbara was a warm and caring daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend. She will be deeply missed.
Barbara was a dedicated Banquet Manager for the Sonesta Hotel for many years. She loved her family. Barbara had a kind and gentle persona which was reflected by the many wonderful relationships she had made in her life.
Barbara was the beloved wife of the late Lawrence F. Hurley. She was the devoted mother of Barbara Hurley of Florida, Lawrence Hurley and his wife Gayle of Stoneham, Paul Hurley and his wife June of Connecticut, Maryjane Hurley of Stoneham, Peter Hurley of Florida, Susan Hurley of New Hampshire, Jean Hurley of Melrose and Brian Hurley and his wife Maria of Groveland. Barbara was the cherished grandmother of 13, the great grandmother of 10 and the dear sister of Natalie Lusas and her late husband Joseph of Rockport. She was also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Wednesday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Barbara's life in St. Patrick's Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10am. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend Visiting Hours, Tuesday 4-8pm. Parking attendants will be on duty. Interment Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham.
