Barbara (Pachan) "Barbie" McKearney

Barbara "Barbie" (Pachan) McKearney of Reading formerly of Medford, passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at Meadowview Care & Rehab in North Reading. She was 85 years of age.

Barbie was the beloved wife of John F. McKearney III. She was the devoted mother of John F. McKearney IV and his wife Mary, David McKearney and his wife Colleen, Patricia McKearney and Stephen McKearney and his wife Lori. The cherished grandmother of seven grandchildren, Barbie was the loving daughter of the late George Pachan and Jordana (Libishanou) Pachan of Macedonia, Greece. She was the caring sister of Peter Pachan and his wife Margaret, Katherine Selander and her husband Herb and Mary Dunn and her husband the late Dave. Barbie was also survived by many caring nieces and one nephew. She will also be missed by many of her friends at Meadowview Nursing and Rehab in North Reading.

Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the Family on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 from 4-7 pm in the Doherty – Barile Family Funeral Home, 11 Linden St. Reading. Parking attendants and ramped entrance are available. Funeral from the Doherty – Barile Family Funeral Home Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at 9:30 am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Barbara's Eternal Life in Saint Agnes Church, 186 Woburn St. Reading at 10:30am. Interment Charles Lawn Memorial Park, Reading.
