Bennett Thomas Cournoyer, born March 18, 2014 at 12:54pm, passed peacefully later that afternoon, while held in his parents' arms. Though Bennett's life was brief, it was filled with enough love and joy to last a lifetime. Bennett will forever be remembered and cherished. His name means "little blessed twin."
Bennett was the son of Matt and Stephanie Cournoyer (Miller) of New Bedford. He is survived by his twin brother, Stephen Kenneth Cournoyer; his maternal grandparents, Kenneth and Frances Miller of Wakefield; his paternal grandparents, Diane Cournoyer and Bill Olson of North Attleboro; his aunts, Jenny Miller and Emily McGregor; his uncles, John Miller, John McGregor, and Michael Cournoyer; and his cousins, Mark, Kayla, and Nora.
Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share remembrances with the family in the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT28) STONEHAM Thursday from 8:30am – 9:30am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Bennett's Eternal Life in St. Patrick's Church 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10am. Interment St. Patrick's Cemetery, Stoneham
