DeVelis, Bernard A. "Bernie" of Boxford, formerly of Andover and Somerville, October 30, at the age of 88, surrounded by his loving family at his home.  Beloved husband for 63 years to Josephine "Jo" (Vaudo) DeVelis.  Devoted father of Bernie DeVelis of North Andover, Rita and her husband Tom Damigella of Topsfield, Laura and her husband Joe DiGregorio of Boxford, and Joe DeVelis and his wife Susan of Boxford.  Cherished son of the late Agosto and Emily (Cimorelli) DeVelis. Loving brother of Mary and her late husband Silvio Permatteo of Revere and Lee and her husband Larry Anderson of Woburn. Loving brother-in-law of Midge and her husband Don Naugler of NH. Adored grandfather of Michelle and her husband David Komm, Jackie and her husband Andy King, Natalie and her husband Brian DiBello, Gregory Damigella and his wife Nichole, Derek DiGregorio and his wife Katie, Dustin DiGregorio, Melanie DiGregorio, Danny DeVelis and Josh DeVelis.  Dear great grandfather to Henry, Grace, Emaline, Elliot, Gehrig and Desmond.  Bernie is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral service at the Cota Funeral Home, 335 Park Street, (corner of Park Street and Route 28) North Reading, on Saturday, November 8, at 11 a.m.  Relatives and friends may visit the funeral home on Friday, November 7, from 2:30-7 p.m. Donations may be made in Bernie's name to the Cosmo J.
